What To Expect
The mediation process begins with a free initial consultation. Both parties participate together with our mediator via Zoom. We will explain what mediation is, and the process and requirements for obtaining an uncontested no-fault divorce in Massachusetts.
If you decide to move forward, you will complete a comprehensive intake form, and each person will have an individual intake and screening appointment with our mediator.
After completing each individual intake, the mediator will assess the case's suitability for mediation. If mediation is a good fit, the first mediation date is scheduled, and you will receive "homework" to complete prior to the first session.
Mediations can complete in as little as two to four sessions, with most resolving inside three months, depending on the level of complexity of the case.
